Guardian science columnist Ben Goldacre says: "You can cover things in incredible detail but you can also do some amazing low threshold stuff, like link blogs. I think it's great that there are more people who aren't professional writers getting involved -- people who actually know about stuff get to communicate with people. I think we need more editors helping people who are experts in their field to produce something that is understandable by lots of people."
